Am I registered to vote?


You are qualified to vote if:

  • You are a citizen of the United States

  • You are at least 18 years old on or before the day of the General Election. If you will be 18 on or before the General Election, you may vote in the Primary Election for candidates only, but not on issues until you are 18.

  • You will be a resident of Ohio for at least 30 days before the election.

  • You are not incarcerated (in prison) for a felony conviction under the laws of the United States, this state or any other state of the United States.

  • You have not been declared incompetent for voting purposes by a probate court.

  • You are registered to vote in Ohio at least 30 days before the election.

If you are unable to locate your voter registration information but think you are registered to vote and you have not moved outside of your county of prior registration, you may be eligible to cast a provisional ballot during in-person absentee voting period at an appropriate early voting location or the county board of elections, or on Election Day at the correct polling place for your current address that may be counted.
